Why EthiopianInfo exists
EthiopianInfo began as preparation for a Welcome to Ethiopia Android app. While building the material for the app, I kept finding practical questions that visitors and friends asked about Ethiopia: arriving in Addis Ababa, using money, understanding the calendar, ordering food, and knowing what to expect in everyday life.
The site grew into a guide of its own. Today EthiopianInfo focuses on practical travel information, Ethiopian culture, food, and everyday life, with a goal of making each guide clearer, more useful, and easier to check.
